Tax Director Level Consultant

Description:
Position will report to corporate controller and have frequent meetings with the CFO. This structure will facilitate some supervision which the CFO does not currently have time to provide.
Position will have one direct report to start out. Eventually, others will be added.
Responsibilities- Consolidated subsidiaries- FAS 109 quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and financial statement responsibility for tax notes.
Compliance- Annual tax returns as well as state returns in multiple states.
Tax planning initiatives.
Further assistance with Sarbox controls and IFRS implementation.
