Description:
Responsibilities: This position will involve performing various laboratory tasks. Will assist development of analytical methods from medium to high complexity. May prepare and test samples according to SOPs and GMP requirements. Will be responsible for assisting with method development, method transfer, troubleshooting and validation. The assistant/associate scientist will support sample analysis using the methods using developed methods. Must maintain laboratory notebook and analyze data to assist with preparing scientific reports. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications: Candidate must have a 4 year degree in Chemistry or a related field and up to 5 years of industry experience. Experience with GC and HPLC is advantageous. Must have excellent documentation skills, and possess a good working knowledge of computer programs such as MS Word and Excel.
