Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Technician for our Client. The ideal incumbent must be comfortable with highly-engineered product and enjoy working in a fast paced growth-stage environment.
The Quality Technician’s primary function is the inspection of incoming parts however the successful candidate will perform both QC and QA duties. The Quality Technician will interface with departments utilizing both job shop manufacturing methodologies as well as small batch production systems.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
In conjunction with Quality Management, audits and maintains quality processes under the scope of a Quality Management System utilized by all aspects of the company.
Specific areas:
• Internal Audits
• Calibration system
• Training program & training records
• Document and Data Control system (change control process)
• Quality Incident, & Cause and Corrective Action Reports
• Supports the QA Engineer as a backup
• Incoming receiving/inspection & material review board member
• Prior experience in a lean manufacturing environment is required. Knowledge of ASME BPE components and specifications is required. ISO 9000 and cGMP experience is highly desirable.
• Shipment preparation, audit, and documentation
• In-process testing & inspection
• Permeate pack QC
• Label & bag
• Integrity testing support
• Milk testing support
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years QC experience in a technology-oriented manufacturing environment required. • Two-year associate degree in a technical discipline desired. • High School diploma required. • Must be competent with Microsoft office applications. • Must be able to multitask, and thrive in a very fast paced environment • Must be a self-starter, team and goal oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will interface with both suppliers and customers.
