As a successful and rapidly growing Interactive Marketing firm, we are strategically launching our new search division, with the emphasis being cutting-edge search engine optimization. We’re looking for an experienced customer service representative to step into an early stage and exciting team-oriented environment. A strong history and experience with client services, account management and relationship building along with the ability to understand web marketing solutions is required. Experience in search marketing and/or other online marketing disciplines is highly desired.
The Account Manager will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
*Acts as primary point of contact for Clients *Deep understanding and applied learning in search engine optimization *Develops a strong understanding of Client’s business needs, industry and online marketing objectives *Consistent communication with Client’s web marketing department and directors/VPs *Heavily involved in the management of optimization campaigns and client specific deliverables *Monitors and helps set client expectations, goals and fluid campaign objectives *Authors campaign summaries, updates and analysis *Generates custom reports for client rankings, traffic, conversions and achievements as it relates to Clients’ key performance indicators *Monitors campaign delivery and work flow processes for accuracy and timeliness *Anticipates Client questions, concerns and future efforts to innovate SEO campaigns *Ability to convert complex concepts into simple dialogue with clients *Strategic interaction and teamwork with internal SEO Engineer(s), Copywriting team(s), and department VP
Job Requirements:
*2+ years experience with customer service at a web services business, marketing agency, advertising firm or other comparable position *BA/BA from a college or university desired *Strong understanding and passion for online marketing, including search *Day-to-day client management experience *Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and drive strategy *Strong project management and organization skills *Detail oriented and customer-minded advocate *Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills *Proficient with MS Office products and work flow management systems
