Description:
We are currently seeking to hire a Hardware Design Engineer with a design background in the Networking/Telecom industry, to design new products, support existing products, and to be an influential member of our clients Engineering team.
The hardware design engineer is expected to meet most of the following key experience requirements:
•High speed design and issues relating to signal integrity, ground bounce, impedance matching, and working with PCB designers and vendors on the above
•Networking interfaces, including T1/DS3/OC3/OC12/GigE/Sonet, and working with Framers and LIUs
•Microprocessor, Network Processor, memory and FPGA design
•Experience working with systems, mechanicals and compliance (safety, emission, immunity and NEBS
•Board bring-up and debug
•Ability to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and soldering irons
•Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
•Strong written and oral communications skills
•Willingness to contribute ideas, work on patents, and work closely with Software Engineering, System Test, and Operations
Educational requirements are:
•BSEE or MSEE degree required
•Experience: 5 to 20+ years related experience
