Description:
We are currently seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with a design background in the Networking/Telecom industry, to design new products, support existing products, and to be an influential member of the Hardware Engineering team.
The hardware design engineer is expected to meet most of the following key experience requirements:
•System and chassis architecture and design, including redundancy, power and cooling
•Knowledge of uTCA or ATCA is a plus
•Microprocessor, Network Processor, memory and FPGA design
•Experience working with systems, mechanicals and compliance (safety, emission, immunity and NEBS)
•Board bring-up and debug
•Ability to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and soldering irons
•Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
•Strong written and oral communications skills
•Willingness to contribute ideas, work on patents, and work closely with Software Engineering, System Test, and Operations
Educational requirements are:
•BSEE or MSEE degree required
•Experience: 5 to 20+ years related experience
