IFRS Manager- 20 hour/wk Contract
Location: Raleigh- but can be based anywhere Duration: 1 year Hours: 20 hours/ week Rate: $80-100 per hour Start: ASAP
Independent contractor who is versed in international financial reporting to lead and oversee the maintenance and growth of the clients website. This website is the primary resource for financial professionals in the orderly transition to international financial reporting within the United States.
Update the strategic plan for the website considering changes in financial reporting, regulations, politics and technology.
Implement the plan so that the site remains robust, fresh, accessed by our members at or above a predetermined rates and meeting standards of quality.
Keeping apprised of emerging issues, determine the information that should be distributed to members and author content for inclusion in the website.
Obtain feedback and evaluation on the site every six months.
Provide monthly status reports to the Steering Committee.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of financial reporting or demonstrated ability to understand the subject matter at a level necessary to successful lead and oversee this website.
Skilled at making and maintaining relationships in order to facilitate the collections and distribution of information.
Strong interviewing skills to be used to feed oral and written content.
Highly skilled in oral and written communications.
Creative in the use of technological applications and ways to communicate professional issues to members and financial professionals.
