Description:

The COO will provide overall management for an early stage healthcare software and services company. There will be an emphasis on revenue growth and ongoing development, marketing, sales and product support for its software product.

Other responsibilities include:

  • pro forma, budget and performance responsibility for the organization;
  • supervising the IT development team;
  • coordinating with Marketing/Business Development and other functional teams in support of the software services;
  • contract negotiation, system launch, implementation, training, and on-going support oversight responsibility;
  • interfacing with other strategic partners.

    • The key professional qualifications include the following:

  • a minimum of five or more years of leadership experience in a software development/sales company;
  • experience in an entrepreneurial/early stage company is preferred;
  • experience providing healthcare software and/or services to hospitals and/or clinical practices is preferred;
  • background in finance, product development, marketing, and/or sales;
  • working knowledge of IT, Pay-for-Performance, Quality and Risk Management in healthcare is preferred;
  • undergraduate degree in business finance, marketing or health sciences; MBA or MHA preferred.
