Compensation Contract to Hire

Location: RTP Duration: 30 day contract to hire Pay: $45 per hour during the contract- conver to $75k base plus full benefits Start: ASAP Travel: None Advanced Excel skills including V-look ups, Piviot tables, and data minipluation required, working with ADP system a plus.

Responsibilities include the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, practices and programs.

Compensation Consultant - Serve as compensation advisor to all Human Resources functions. External Benchmarking - Conduct external compensation studies across the industries including executive compensation surveys and provide input to the strategy on the trends and position to manage to the compensation trends.
Compensation Strategy – Provides input to the changes in compensation approaches to attract and retain a highly technical, diverse workforce. Provides innovative approaches to HR clients to attract and retain talent through sign on bonuses, retention schemes and compensation benchmarking. Base Pay – Provide input into the site specific non-exempt salary structures for all sites. Prepares and communicates guidelines on base pay programs and provides salary information to the HR staff.
Incentive Compensation – Administers incentive compensation programs for management, non-management and sales employees. Provide input to compensation manager of salary trends and incentive compensation data. Acts as the liaison to sales incentive groups to provide insight in the development of sales incentive compensation programs.
Job Evaluation – Participates in the job evaluation process. The incumbent is expected to interact with HR staff in the development of job descriptions, understanding organizational design and evaluating positions.
Rewards & Recognition – Participates in the budget, marketing and administration of all reward and recognition programs, including: Special Recognition Awards, CIP Awards, On the Spot Awards, Team Incentive Awards, Executive management Awards. Review all procedures and provides guidance to the Healthcare HR staff on proper utilization of resources.
Equity Analysis- Conduct internal and external salary studies to ensure consistent wage and salary administration across functional areas.
Compensation HRIS – Participates in activities for conversion to new HR Information Systems and facilitates improvements and changes to meet the organizations' needs. BS in Business Management with a focus in Human Resources management. 5-7 years of Human Resources experience in compensation, consulting experience is a plus. Knowledge of compensation strategy, planning, marketing and implementation. Knowledge of HRIS to administer compensation programs and prepare reports. Knowledge of compensation trends, market trends, alternate approaches to compensation (i.e., pay at risk, sales incentive, team based incentives).
Solid oral and written communication skills and analytical skills to assess information. General understanding of the plasma and biotheraputic industries, business strategies and issues.
