Full Time Opportunity to be part of our company's management team, working as a Senior Technical Project Manager supporting a Major Health Care Client. Your primary responsibility will be working as Senior Technical Project Manager developing, executing, and managing client initiated technical projects relative to the wide area network (WAN).

Position Requirements

• Ability to complete scope and business requirement definition, schedule definition, project budget development, project resource management, risk mitigation, and acceptance testing. • Ability to develop clear and concise project documentation in support of ongoing departmental development. • Ability to comply with the Project Management Office methodologies, processes, forms, and procedures. • Able to manage the daily activity of all assigned project resources including client, co-workers, vendors, and business partners. • Maintain thorough status reports for multiple assigned projects and report the status to the project team. • Utilize sound judgment to anticipate and escalate issues that may negatively impact project timeline, scope, and cost. • Utilize interpersonal skills to cultivate strong client relationships

Education Training/Certifications Required:

Bachelors in Business or Information Technology or equivalent work experience. PMP Certification

Education Training/Certifications Desired:

Bachelors in Business or Information Technology or equivalent work experience. PMP Certification

Work Experience Required:

Training and/or seminars relative to Inter-connecting wide area networks. 8-10+ years of Project Management in support of multi-location enterprise wide area network(WAN). Demonstrated ability to multi-task several project assignments. Demonstrated tenacious ability to develop and tightly maintain a project schedule. Advanced Microsoft Project skills

Facilitates the execution of project/program design. Responsible for delivery of complex technical projects or programs. Supports the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs. Acts as a technical design resource on projects or programs. Facilitates execution of continuous improvement plans. May perform active role in managing client relationship to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Impact of decisions on business operations can have a moderate to high level of impact. May develop departmental budgets and business plans for functional area. May evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility. Identifies resource needs and may develop justification. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. May recommend/ determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company. May be responsible for overall success of function or project.

Education:

Typically Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations. Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Direction of Others:

Typically manages non-exempt administrative or technical employees, and/or lower level exempt employees.
