Revenue Recognition Consultant- Sales Type Leases
Location: Durham
Duration: 5 month contract- must commit to the entire duration of the project
Start: ASAP
Pay: $30-35 per hour

Description:
Maintain all sales-type lease accounting to ensure proper revenue recognition. Preparation and analysis of monthly foreign currency adjustments related to intercompany transactions with Group companies.
Preparation, review, and analysis of the Daily Sales Report. Reconcile report to general ledger and investigate differences.
Maintain all sales-type lease accounting to ensure proper revenue recognition. Analyze and properly record revenue generated from extended lease warranties.
Maintain access database for product sales and gross profit.
Calculate, review, and record currency gain/loss on hedged accounts receivable contracts between group companies. Prepare A/R currency schedule, FX schedule, Currency Translation account reconciliation, and Group Sales schedule.
Prepare journal vouchers for the General Ledger for all of the above responsible areas and prepare any other necessary closing reports or documents to ensure all areas are accounted for properly.
Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations on a timely basis. Investigate and resolve all non-reconciling items.
