SEC Reporting CFO with Banking background
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-4 months and possible contract to hire
Location: Raleigh
Pay Rate: $ 90-110 per hour
Travel: None
Responsibility for the external financial reporting and compliance in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with U.S. GAAP and the applicable SEC regulatory requirements.
The client is currently converting systems. Consultant will need to ensure the systems' detail continues to reconcile with the general ledger through conversion date. The focus of those reviews will be loans, deposits, fixed assets, and investments.
Ensure the books and records continue to be maintained in accordance with GAAP.
Do a review of the monthly reconciliations for key accounts, including all that will be converted, on a monthly basis.
Review the major accruals such as interest income and expense.
Advise on any adverse trends in loan delinquencies and chargeoffs.
Mapping the general ledger for call report, board reporting and SEC reporting purposes.
Make recommendations as to the ultimate asset/liability structure post-merger.
