Cost Accountant
Location: RTP
Duration: Contract to Hire
Start: March 31st
Rate: $28-32 per hour based on experience, converts to perm at $55-65k.
Travel: None
Responsible for costing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost information for month end closing following proper GAAP standards. Close shop floor orders in system, print out reports WIP reports, perform variance analyst in Excel. Coordinates annual cost roll and ensures the accuracy of standard costs and budgeted costs. Responsible for generating variance reporting and analysis to include labor and overhead spending, material usage, and purchase price variances. Report and coordinate monthly factory labor and overhead spending with Operations management. Provide financial review and recommendations on Operations requests for capital expenditures.
