Description:
Bronto is looking for a full-time Support Engineer to join our Client Services team. We are looking for well-rounded individuals to diagnose & troubleshoot client issues as well as triage to Engineering. In addition, this position will support customer integrations with the Bronto API. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of SOAP based API's and database best practices.
We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing professional who wants to gain invaluable professional experience at an exciting “software as a service” company. Responsibilities:
• Respond to escalated customer requests • Perform root-cause analysis by verifying technical facts and developing logical conclusions. • Manage customers' expectations and experience in a way that results in high customer satisfaction. • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Bronto API and other areas of product functionality • Consult with customers on how to effectively integrate their applications with the Bronto API • Define and describe technical best practices. • Develop high quality documentation for knowledgebase as assigned.
Experience/Skills Required:
• BS in Computer Science • Excellent communication, client service and teamwork skills • Minimum of 2 years as a engineering escalation resource or software engineer • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. • Ability to diagnose complex issues • Web application programming experience; Java or .NET a plus • HTML, CSS experience a plus • Experience developing in a Unix/Linux environment • Experience with API coding; MySQL experience a plus • U.S. Resident
